Certified Clinical Medical Assistant

With the increasing shortage of physicians, medical assistants are becoming a critical part of the healthcare team. The Certified Clinical Medical Assistant program teaches both theory and practical information regarding medical diagnostics, laboratory techniques and back office operation, such as medical billing and record keeping.

 

The student will learn basic anatomy and physiology, and receive training in medical techniques, including injections, urinalysis, venipuncture and electrocardiography. The student will also learn how to take  blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate and perform EKG's, First Aid and CPR. These skills will allow the student to be an active member of the medical team, participating in physical and specialty exams at a hospital, clinic or physician's office.

Financing Option:

Program Cycle: 300 hours/ 10 weeks; Cost $4000 with 20% down payment, and monthly installments for 12, 24 or 36 months. $75 application is applicable and refundable upon acceptance. The table below illustrates comparative installments over 12, 24, and 36 months. There is no pre-payment penalty.
