Course Objectives
Upon successful completion, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to phlebotomy
- Apply OSHA and CDC safety standards, including infection control
- Perform venipuncture and capillary collection using correct order of draw
- Properly label, handle, and transport specimens
- Communicate professionally with patients and healthcare staff
- Document procedures accurately and comply with legal/ethical standards

- Valid government-issued photo ID
